AccessCom Mail Email Setup

Your username is your full email address.
Incoming Mail Server Address (POP3 or IMAP): mail.accesscom.net
Outgoing Mail Server Address (SMTP): mail.accesscom.net (no username or password needed, port 25)

For mobile devices such as iPhones and off network email access (e.g. at a hotel or over 4G), set the Outgoing Mail Server to: ux.accesscom.net and server port 2525. You will also need to provide your username and password to send email.

No security types (SSL, TLS) are used to connect to our servers.

In Outlook:

In Android: (Ice Cream Sandwich and later)

Tap the "Mail" icon.
(For some it may say "Email" instead).

If you have not setup any email addresses yet you will see a screen similar to this. Tap "Other"

1. Enter your email address.
2. Enter your email password.
Tap Next

Fill in the fields like the example above.

Fill in the fields like the example above for the outgoing server. Note the ux.accesscom.net and server port.

On the last screen, give the account a name and type in the name you want people to see when you send them a message.
Tap "Finish Setup" and you'll be taken to your inbox. If there is any email waiting for you, they will be downloaded immediately.

iPhone (iOS 7)

Setting up email to work with our service over wireless and wifi can take some time. Please allow the device to finish "Verifying" as this can take several minutes.

Go into Settings and tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".

Tap "Add Account".

Tap "Other".

Tap "Add Mail Account".

Fill in your Name, Email, Password, and give this account a useful description. Tap "Next" when you're done.

Choose "IMAP" instead of "POP3" and then scroll down to fill out both "Incoming" and "Outgoing" mail servers. Note: both username and password fields should be filled out with your username (full email address) and password.

Your iPhone will then test the connection showing a "Verifying" message. When it fails, this message will pop up. Select "Yes". It will verify again but this time it will succeed if there are no errors entered for the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Servers.

Make sure "Mail" is toggled to the ON position (Green for iOS7) and tap "Save". You can now send and receive mail by using the built in Mail app.
